Big Bob's Furniture Line
Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet opened its doors over 20 years ago with just one store. What began as a bright entrepreneurial vision has evolved into a franchise operation with, now almost 40 stores nationwide.
In July 2005 Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet in Overland Park was forced to relocate, due to expansion of a near-by Hospital. The Overland Park Flooring Outlet re-opened within 1/2 mile of its original location and increased its floor space by 100%. This change prompted a new concept for Big Bob, while fulfilling customer requests for discounted furniture, thus establishing Big Bob’s Furniture Outlet business. The Flooring and Furniture Outlets exist side by side, resulting in a shared demographic customer base.
Big Bob’s Furniture Outlet imports new furniture from China, India, Mexico and other countries, buying manufacturer closeouts, shopping bankruptcies and liquidations to offer customers low prices. Inventory includes: Bedroom Sets, Mattresses, Living Room Sets, Kitchen Tables & Chairs, Sofas, Love Seats, Chairs, Ottomans, and much, much more.
We operate an entry level, cash and carry, no frills furniture store, allowing convenience and value. We are not currently offering licenses for the Big Bob’s Furniture Outlet outside of the Kansas City area, but are exploring that possibility for future offerings to our members.
In June 2006, the Overland Park Furniture Outlet moved to an even bigger facility and co-exists with the Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet in Independence, Mo.
